Hello September-Super Late Post

It's been too long, yeah..freaking too long I'm abandoning this blog, almost a month I never post anything. For serious, this couple days has been the most busiest weeks I ever experienced. Not, that I'm complaining or anything, because the truth is, I'm just too carried away with my new challenges, my new environment, my new tasks and responsibilities.

I've to admit, it was terrific. Meeting new people, knowing new things and learning completely out-of-my-mind business. Some might think it's just too much, but 'too much' isn't actually bad if it comes to nourishing your thoughts and stressing your powerful side!

Alhamdulillah....

Life after work, frankly speaking, not much really. It was all because I always came home late everyday, but...I do had several lunch gathering with my MK besties. It's funny how coincidentally one of the MK trit member is working at the same building with me, in fact, her office is just 1 level below me. So, after the previous fun meet up the other day, we always make time to had lunch together.

And, the most obvious thing about getting back to work is that now I can wear my blazers again. lol. And yeah, as always, I'm still thinking that I have nothing to wear! So I ended up wearing the same combo over and over again...

Monthly Recap - Aug13

Ndak keburu ke post semalam -___-

Berhubung udah tanggal 31 dan -ashamedly-nya gw cuma post weekly recap sekali doank, so why don't i just post monthly recap to sum it all then.

First is I just want to say that I love this month. A lot of new things happened and arrived. My new job, my new responsibility, my new friends and my new colleagues. Jangan ditanya deh betapa gw sangat happy dan super semangat menyambut dan menjalaninya.

My Work

Awalnya pasti nervous, i mean, selama 11 tahun bekerja, baru kali ini gw bener2 ngerasa deg2an mulai kerja lagi. Mungkin karena gw sempet absen kerja beberapa bulan. Rasa gugup, kuatir, takut, gak pede udah jadi pikiran berhari2 sebelum hari H. Tapi, ketika hari pertama itu datang, Alhamdulillah..semua yang gw takutkan, semua yang gw khawatirkan dan semua pikiran2 negative yang ada ternyata tidak terjadi. Somehow on that very first day, I can convinced my self that I was able to do whatever is entrusted to me, and that I know I can put my best effort to it, no matter what! And after two weeks, I'm pretty sure I do well.

 

My New Things

Invoice satu2 mulai berdatangan, tapi hanya ada satu invoice yang rasa senengnya bisa ngalah2in rasa seneng gw sama PO yang lain. And that is my Zara Tartan Blazer invoice. Udah hampir 3 bulan lamanya gw ngincer itu blazer dan baru kemarin akhirnya kesampean punya. Long story short, sebelumnya gw order satu stel blazer dan trouser, tpi karena satu dan lain hal, yang datang ternyata hanya trousernya aja dan si blazer entah ketinggalan dimana. Berhubung eke mau matching2in, so mulai lah hunting si blazer kesana-kesini, browsing here and there sampe akhirnya nemu size yang available di Zara US. Dan kemarin, setelah sekian lama si trouser dianggurin, akhirnya dia bertemu juga ma pasangannya *gwngomongpaansih :p 

 

My Social Life

Di bulan ini gw berkesempatan ketemu dengan temen2 yang udah lama banget ndak ketemu, sampe kenalan dengan temen2 baru yang punya passion sama. It was all fun and lively.

First is when I met with anak2 Arisan Rempong di Union PS. Kebetulan gw ketemu mreka emang cuma sebulan sekali (sibuuk semua soale) jdi pas ketemu udah heboh cerita sana-sini..tapi sayang, setiap ketemu kita ndak prnah bisa stay lama2 karena udah pada ribet sama urusannya masing2. Gw aja cuma bsa ketemu ma bestfriend Desong not more than a hour! :(

 Arisan Rempong

I also got a chance to meet with Nofry and Hesti at Plaza Semanggi. Kalo gank hahahihi ini mah jangan ditanya sibuknya kaya gimana...kegiatan istri2 pejabat aja kalah sama kesibukan mereka!lol 

Ini pun kita ketemu dadakan banget, pas Seninnya udah mau janjian, etau2 Hesti bilang udah janji mau ikut kursus merangkai bunga, trus Nofry udah ribet mau beliin sesuatu buat anaknya..Dan pas ketemu, sessi cerita2nya juga ngebut, karena si Emak max jam 9.30 udah musti pulang -__-

Next is when I meet with Ncelz and Fiera FD gals at Common People and Eatery Kemang. Awalnya gw and Ncelz udah sering saut2an di Path untuk ketemuan dan ngobrol2, dan Sabtu kemarin pas gw juga lagi ndak kemana-mana, tercetuslah ide untuk ketemuan di Kemang, tapi yang happynya lagi adalah Fiera mau gabung juga. It was my first time meeting her, so yeah I'm excited. Berhubung ketemuannya didaerah eke, so si Ncelz berbaik hati untuk menjemput eke di kostan. Setelah ketemu, kita langsung cuss ke Common. Ngobrol2 dan bahas tentang racun2 di FD khususnya di MP. Foto2 trus lanjutan ke Kemang Village. Sampe sana, Fiera misah dari kita karena mau ketemuan ma temennya yang lain. So gw dan Ncelz lanjut window shoppingan and end the day at Kopi Kitchen untuk ngopi sambil ditemani pertunjukan kembang api yang awesome ituh *romantis amat ya kita celz :p Baliknya Ncelz mampir ke kostan dan sempet ketemu ples ngobrol2 ma anak2 B226. Harap maklum ya mak kalo kelakuan mereka kaya gitu :p But anyway, thanks so much for the lovely day.

Last meet up(s) is when I finally met with FD-Michael Kors forum member at Pacific Place. Gathering kali ini juga ndak kalah serunya, karena setelah sekian lama cuma ngobrol2 secara virtual dan lewat nickname aja, akhirnya kemarin kita bisa bertemu muka langsung aka Copy Darat *eeaaa*
Yang pertama kali gw temuin adalah Mak Sheila. Honestly speaking, gw ndak berasa canggung2 amat ketemu sama dia, secara selain temen FD, kita juga udah temenan alias follow2an di IG dan Path, jadi udah berasa akrab duluan (itu gw siih, ndak tau si eMak :p) Setelah decide tempat di Pancious Pancake, mulai deh satu2 pada dateng; ada Dearmimie (Mifta), AdeAfriyani (mak Ade) and Fiera (yeeess, she's coming aswell ^^) Kali ini yang kebetulan bisa kumpul hanya ber-5 aja, tapi itupun udah rame banget. Yang namanya perempuan2 satu hobby dan satu selera kumpul jadi satu, pasti bisa ditebak donk, ceritanya ndak akan putus2. Kita sharing mulai dari tas, kerjaan, anak, sampe hadiah dari boss (aku iri padamu hey Fiera and Mak Sheila!) Too bad, kita ndak bisa lama2 karena udah malem juga dan yang lain kan ada yang nungguin. (emang kita ya Fiera? -KITA!) So jam 9 kita misah sambil planning untuk arrange next meet up with more member. *mintadiracunsepertinya!
All and all, it was a very terrific night, meeting new people has always been something fun for me. So thank you all for the night ;)

My Health 

Doing great, so far so good. Jam tidur gw udah mulai membaik secara pelan2. No more tidur pas matahari terbit dan no more begadang2 gak guna. Berhubung dari pagi udah cape, alhasil sampe kostan gw cuma basa-basi sebentar ma anak2, masuk kamar dan tewas!

My Diet

Yess..i'm doing it again now. Setelah baca2 tentang the famous OCD thing, rasa2nya it is worth to try. Gw sih cuma ambil gampangnya aja and that is about jam makan. Sementara ini gw baru jalanin yang 8 jam dulu, after that we will see if I can progress to 6 hours.

My Wishlist

Hahahah..ini sih ampun deeh, punya wishlist koq ya ndak abis2. Baru punya satu, eh udah pingin yang lain lagi. Dari fokusnya tas, eh sekarang malah ganjen kepengenan dompet dan aksesorisnya..abis itu apalagi nih -___- But namanya juga perempuan yaa cyint *mulai cari justifikasi* boleh lah sekali2 menyenangkan diri sendiri, apalagi gw kan udah kerja sekarang, jadi anggap saja the next wishlist as an 'appreciation to-self'! #blaaah

My Kostan Life 

I couldn't thank you enough to Dince that has always been with me ever since I started to work. It's almost every morning we go to the office and had bfast at KFC together. Since her office is at Bapindo, thus it's a one way direction with my office too ^^ Oiya last week gw juga sempet ke Kokas sama Tamce and Monce utk nyobain Sushi Tei yang baru buka disana.

Selebihnya sih so-so aja. Nothing much different actually. But starting this month i will facing a bigger life experience ahead. Bismillah.....

Michael Kors Hamilton Saffiano N/S Tote Large - RED

Merdekaaa!!!

Hahaha..apa kabar semuanya? hope baik2 aja yaa..seperti diriku hari ini yang lagi merasa happy sampe keubun-ubun. (karena menang lomba makan kerupuk Gie?) Noo..no..udah gede mak, malu sama umur dan gak enak juga saingan ma bocah2 deket kostan! LOL

Anyway, hari ini gw cuma mau sharing aja how much I enjoyed my days lately. First after ber-galaw2 ria gegara nervous menyambut hari pertama kerja, all of sudden hari kamis kemarin, semua perasaan galaw, resah, gelisah dan gamang..hilang semuanyaah!

And the reason is because, finally, after weeks of weeks hunting, browsing2 sampe begadang dan compare2 sampe mata sliwer, last Thursday, my dream MK Hamilton Saffiano Red has finally arrived! Excited? Sudah cencuuw <3

Jadi ceritanya kan kamis kemarin gw ndak kemana-mana, trus iseng deh mau nongkrong2 sambil buka laptop di kolam. Baru juga naro laptop, tiba2 aja Bu Sugeng bilang kalo gw dapet kiriman paket, pas gw liat bungkus paketnya gedaaa..I kneew it was my long-awaited bag that's coming!

Jangan ditanya deh betapa noraxnya gw ketika ngeliat itu, secara gw udah kaya orang gila lompat2an kesenengan, sampe2 si Ibu Sugeng berrolling eyes ngeliatinnya :p

Trus ga pake lama, langsung buru2 donk gw buka itu paket (sambil deg2an pastinya) (berasa kaya dapet kiriman cincin kawin) (maafkan saya yang norak ya) And there it is, just right in front of my eyes, my dream bag!

OMG...OMG...OMG

You see, I've been dreaming this bag since the very first I saw it, but I was torned between this one or Selma, and after long consideration, I chose Selma Black first instead of this. After I got the Selma, then I began to hunting Hamilton Red again.

Apparently,  it was not that easy. Considering this color was their last season' collection and they don't sell in any longer here in my country, thus I need to search to another country or websites.

Again, it was not that easy because most of the websites only provide the Mandarin color instead of RED, and for me, even though both colors are looked almost the same, but I just knew that in real life they're both slightly different. As per its name, Mandarin leans to orange-ish and yeah of course I don't liked it.  So the hunting kept continued...

Until one day I found the real Red at Macy's.  As always, I contacted one of the forum seller to buy it for me. Unfortunately, at that time she doesn't open PO from Macy's, as well as the other sellers too. And there you are, I lost hope! Tapi namanya juga ngidam ya mak, gw kekeuh musti hunting teruuuus! Akhirnya, gw coba2 deh searching dan compare2 harga di Instagram, Facebook and another online sites sampe buntu mau nyari kemana lagi.

Several weeks has passed until I tried it once again on Google, and finally..one of the online shopping site called Amazon sell it and what makes me even happier is that the price was on sale aka cheaper than what I've seen before, A LOT!

So without further thinking, I immediately contacted the seller -thank God that she open PO at Amazon- and after I agreed on the quote price, I said confirmed and she said OK.

Deal Done! All I have to do is just wait for it to arrived in my kostan for about 3 weeks or so (so much depends on our customs).

To my surprise, it's arrived earlier than I thought! Only in 3 weeks, the seller sent me the invoice and less than 2 days, it's here and totally mine now ;)

After a thrilled and super exciting day, latah deh mampir ke Galleries Lafayette Pacific Place untuk iseng ngecek2 toko MK yang baru aja dibuka. Dan ujung2nya adalah, kalap nyobain tas2 dan aksesoris yang super duper keceh2 itu sampe kebawa mimpi segala!

PS : Naksir satchel saffiano yang luggage...sama bracelet and wide buckle ring!

Blazer Style

Maybe you all had enough listening me talking about blazer all the time. About how much i love blazer, how much I adore Zara blazer and how much I say I cannot live my work life without it. But on a serious note, I do sometimes lost track and idea how to wear it differently.

You see, I don't like wearing skirt, let alone a dress. It's just too girly2 for me and it's just not my style. Therefore, the only combination to wear blazers for me are trousers or jeans. And trust me, it ain't easy as it seems. No matter how many times I googling to search some inspirations, it will always ended up nothing. I'm not saying this because they're all not good. It's just because, their posture and mine are not the same. Their culture, their personal style and their working environment are not the same too. So it's kinda difficult for me to match what suits best.

There are a LOT of blazer style, outfit and inspirations on google, but is there at least one blogger that can really channeling my signature style? Maybe I didn't search too hard, maybe there is one out there. It doesn't necessarily international blogger, domestic will even better, because she will definitely understand what we've going through in here.  But is there any?
