After 30...Then What?

I know, its only a copy-paste action, but i also know that this post is too important for me to add unnecessary comments that will just make the whole key point of it blurry (like i always did). So be it like this...

  

so what happens after 30? not much, except you begin to see things you thought were stupid as things that are somewhat acceptable.

#after30 you begin to see the bigger picture, and not fuss about the small stuff anymore. you begin to admit that your parents were right.

#after30 you begin to think you were such an smart-ass in your twenties that you even asked the WRONG questions and demand the RIGHT answers

#after30 you begin to see who your real friends are. its now enough time to see how they stick with you through thick and thin... or leave.

#after30 youll stop wondering about what would happen, and actually start making things happen.

#after30 you begin to appreciate people for who they really are, not their money, power, looks or merely brains. you begin to be... nicer.

#after30 you begin to accept being able to understand things you refuse to understand before.

#after30 youll start listening to yourself more and not think of other peoples opinion that much because youll know yourself better.

#after30 you wont be insecure when somebody asks how old you are because youre in your prime and you know it. why so scared?

#after30 all the drama in your 20s will seem like childs play. and youll laugh at how stupid you were and get over them.

#after30 youll realize that being nice is not a sign of weakness and being cynical is not a sign of super intelligence.

#after30 youll know what safe distance means and begin practicing it to some people, mostly toxic ones.

#after30 youll finally learn to forgive. and possibly forget.

#after30 youll be happy you passed those miserable, drama-clad 20s. because if you hadnt, you wont be this person you are today.

#after30 will you be satisfied of your accomplishments? no. youll crave for more. but this time, youll know how to do it right.

the fear of life #after30 is overrated and thats why people gets depressed for nothing. if 30 is a milestone, make it golden. why worry?

#after30 you realize that there actually IS more to life.

#after30 youll think that the cool way of life you had in your 20s has actually evolved to something way cooler. and healthier.

#after30 youll know how to stand up for yourself and not let people walk all over you... and still be sincerely nice.

#after30 youll completely understand the difference between evil, nasty and firm. and youll know how to use each well to your advantage.

#after30 youll see that there are people much better than you and this either make you humbled... or be an ass all your life. your choice.

i tweeted all the #after30 things because people are only worried of turning 30 for nothing. after you blow the candles life goes on.

if youre a negative person and want to stay that way, cool. the world needs some sourness for kicks and thats where you come in. balance.

so you wanna greet 30 gracefully or miserably, youre still gonna be 30 anyway. might as well make it enjoyable and less dramatic.

I'm Officially 30 ;">

First day being 30 feels...OLD! Yups...welcome the big 3-0, the Dirty Thirty. Thirty is a particular special birthday that grants me full entrance in the realm of official adulthood.

Ga kerasa udah berumur 30 ajaah..makin tuwiiir bow, masih banyak yang musti di achieved, tpi Insya Allah satu hal udah perlahan tapi pasti menjadi semakin jelas :D

  

To celebrate this special day, gw berencana untuk exploring Bandung, well it's only 3 places to be exact! (bukan explore atuh namanya). Pengennya sih bisa kesana-kemari, but it's a long wiken period, Bandung udah pasti padeet, maceet, ruweet. Thus rencana hanya tinggal rencana dan kita lebih memilih untuk ke tempat2 yang searah jalan pulang dan berusaha menghindari daerah tengah kota. (padahal moo shopping T_T)

Awalnya, kita sepakat mau having lunch di Padma Hotel Bandung. When I first saw their website, I know I must go there. Their view and ambiance are definitely to die for. Walopun cuma liat gambarnya lewat internet doank, tapi itu udah cukup bikin gw terngiler2 pingin kesana. Sepanjang jalan gw udah cengar-cengir bahagia ngebayangin serunya duduk2 di lounge nya sambil ngopi, nyemil cake and chit-chat with BBP. Tapiii semua angan2 itu huancur luebur gara-gara jalan yang menuju ke Hotel macet total dan stuck ga gerak! Ga mau buang2 waktu plus ga pingin ngerusak hari karena sutres macet, alhasil kita putbal ke tempat laiin. Sedih and kucewaaa berat akuuh, tapi next time I WILL GO THERE!

Dari yang niatnya mau nyemil2 cantik di restoran gengges, eeehhh tiba-tiba aja si BBP malah ngajakin makan kambiing aja gituuh :ebuseh: Berhubung udah laperto, akhirnya kita putbal dan melipir ke Kambing Bakar Cairo di daerah Geger Kalong.

To be frank, gw ga pernah suka yang namanya makan daging kambing, it tastes and smells awkward. But emang dasarnya udah laper berat and BBP maksa2 gw untuk nyobain, yaudin pasrah lah gw mesen seporsi juga. Daaaan, Ketagihan!!!hahahha..seriusan, ini daging kambing terenak yang pernah gw coba, empuks, ga bau samsek, pinggirannya garing dan gurih ples sambelnya nampol! Ga percuma deh gagal ke Padma :D

Ditempat ini disediain 2 type porsi daging sesuai kemauan dan "kemampuan makan" pelanggan. Same like porsi nasi di warung padang gitu deh, ada yang nasi 1 dan nasi 1/2. Kalo gw sih pasti pilih porsi setengah which is 250gr (termasuk tulang) and kalo si BBP? (jangan ditanya dia mah) pilih yang paling besar, 500gr (bilangnya sih itu berat krn tulang, pdhal kelihatan jelas daging semuah ituh *tepokjidat)

Dan kedua piring kita bersih sih sih..sangking enaknya (apa lapeer yah?) :p

Alhamdulillah setelah kenyang, kita melanjutkan trip berikutnya ke Congo untuk ngupi-ngupi. This is my first time kesini dan when I arrived there, I immediately felt in love with this place. Tempatnya adem, asri, tenang, quite, peaceful and the weather was awesome.

There are 2 separated areas di Congo, Indoor and outdoor. Kita terpaksa pilih yang outdoor karena area indoor ada minimum purchasenya sebesar satu juta. Nah berhubung kita cuma berdua, gak mungkin-lah bisa abis sampe segitu (kec ditake away) dan juga kemahaalan (irits), so dengan berat hati kita diarahkan ke area outdoor yang letaknya ga jauh dari situ. It appeared that Outdoor area ga kalah cuantik dibandingin indoor, disini suasananya malah berasa lebih santai dan open-ing, dan dari area ini juga justru kita bisa foto2 bangunan utamanya, lebih bagus lah pokoknya IOO (in our opinion).

So we decided untuk menghabiskan the rest of the afternoon time here untuk nyemil, ngopi dan kerjaa...yeesss..kita masih sempet2nya buka laptop untuk cek email, kerja dan ngurusin tiket balik boss gw yang gajeboo ituuh..ampooon deeh :(

But luckily, suasananya lagi baguss, so gw brusaha kelarin urusan si boss and lanjut nikmatin udara dan pemandangan sore itu bersama BBP.

And these are what we're ordered...cuma cemilan "ringan" (kata BBP). 

Strawberry pancake with vanilla ice cream, singkong goreng bertabur keju, milkshake coklat topped with strawberry jam and vanilla ice cream, cappuccino and black coffee :D and in total it doesn't cost us more than 150K :D

Puas nongkrong, foto2, nyemil, menikmati sore sampe langit mau gelap, akhirnya we decided to go back home to Jakarta. But sebelumnya tetep mampir dulu ke Amanda Brownies buat oleh2, ini kegiatan kudu, musti, wajib kalo gw ke Bandung :P

And that's it, tomorrow I'll be living my live as a 30-ish woman but still think she's a 25-ish girl in the inside :p

And overall, that day was nothing but an extraordinary day to me...thank you Allah SWT :)
