Zara Fuschia Blazer - My Casual Friday

Holaaa all,

I realized that weather in Jakarta these days always been gloomy, rainy and cold, but somehow today I really wanna go out and try my Zara Fuschia blazer to give a little bit of 'artificial' shine into my ensemble. 

As today is Friday, that means I can dress up casually. Well, especially when I know all of my bosses are not coming to the office today, thus I can also wear my distressed jeans + T-shirt. Bener2 santaai laah hari ini (tapi kerjaan mah teteeup buanyak -___-)

Btw, akhir2 ini juga gw lagi seneng2nya pake flat, apa? aneh? gak gw banget?? well, yeah..I know and fully aware of that. Tapi, mau gimana lagi doonk, pinggang lagi gak keceh niiih, yah maklum deh ya faktor "U" secara bulan depan ekeh kan udah 32 (moduuus, minta dikadoin :p) jadi berasa badan aga2 jompoh ini (drama!) Well, anihooo....sekarang2 ini kayaknya kalo ndak perlu ketemu orang or gak perlu nampang, keknya gw lebih milih pake flat deh, soalnya tiap pake heels koq bawaannya udah ngos2an aja gituuh....PAYAH!

Healthy comes first. So timbang udah dandan keren2, tapi tiap jalan nafasnya ngos2an kaya abang yang angkut2 karung, mending bay-bay dulu lah ya ma heels. Pokoknya nanti kalo udah ketemu momentnya untuk tampil, soook deh dipake lagi itu heels (sambil nahan nafas!)

February 14 Haul - Zara Fuschia Blazer & Mango Americano Blazer

Dari judulnya sih udah ndak perlu dijelasin lagi ya kalo ekeh mo posting apa. So yes, setelah kegilaan belanja coat yang bikin bangkrut diawal tahun kemarin, eh bulan kemarin gw tetep gak kapok loh untuk tetep maksain PO di Pheebs.

Haul kali ini bukan semuanya coat sih, tapi (another) blazer inceran yang dibeli some karena iya-iya engga-engga dan satunya lagi karena emang udah ngidam dari jaman post yang INI.*apeeeuusih

First blazer pertama tak lain dan tak bukan adalah dari merk kesayangan si Zara. It's called Zara Blazer with Gathered Shoulder - Fuschia. Nah, dari warnanya aja udah ketauan donk kenapa gw bilang iya-iya, engga-engga. It's FUSCHIA maaan, as explained in wikipedia, it's a stunned color that can make your eyes popped out at the first sight! Okay, okay...gw majas hiperbola. But well, one thing for sure, Fuschia is a very bright and eye-catchy color indeed! Trus kenapa tetep dibeli? hhhmmmm...well, satu alasan yang jelas2 bukan nyari pembenaran adalah : Modelnya sama persis dengan 3 blazer Zara Gathered Shoulder yang gw punya sebelumnya! Yes, honestly speaking, gw punya the exact same blazer but with different color. Dan I love them all so much (yaa makanya sampe punya 3 biji!) Dan itu karena model blazer yang satu ini cocok banget buat type badan gw. Cuttingannya pas, detail puff shouldernya pas, lenght blazernya pas, bahannya pas, button detailnya pas...well, semuanya pas! That's why dari awal gw udah berniat untuk ngumpulin semua warna dengan model yang sama ini. 

So one day, akhirnya gw liat deh si Fuschia. Awalnya masih nahan2, karena I am not sure whether am I going to like it and have a confidence on wearing it. Sampe akhirnya itu barang hilang dari peredaran. Good for me. Ehhhh, dengan tidak sopannya, tau2 pas musim sale, si fuschia nongol lagi doonkk! Udah gitu harganya jdi lebih murah banyak poela. Aaargghh, gw aseli galaw. Mondar-mandir ke Zara nyoba2 dan tetep gak kepengenan beli. Sampe akhirnya si size XS OOS ketika gw udah membulatkan tekat untuk beli. (sokoorin)

Etapi jangan cemas saudara2, thanks to MP FD, gw bisa milih mo mesen di Zara Spain, Netherlands or even US *tsaah. Gak masyalaaah. Dan akhirnya gw confirm si fuschia lewat Pheebs dengan harga yang lebih murah sikiiit dari harga store.

Emang dasar si blazer ngeledek ya, tiba2 aja donk gw liat stocknya muncul lagi di Kokas dan yang bikin nyeseknya lagi adalah, harganya jauuuuuh lebih murah dari yang gw confirm! *daaang. Mo nangis gak sih ekeeeh, padahal seandainya aja si Pheebs belum confirm, udah pasti langsung gw bungkus itu yang di counter. But well, you can never feel lucky anytime rite. So, bersyukur aja deh akhirnya setelah melewati beberapa kendala dan halangan, si Fuschia kemarin nyampe juga dikostan. Next blazer adalah si Mango Americana Cameron Blazer. This tricolor combo blazer has caught my eyes from the very first time I saw it. It looks really unique and masculine but still has a feminine touch cause of the white collar and lapel. Awalnya sama kaya si fuschia, maju mundur pas mau beli, tapi pas liat tulisan SALE aka DISKON aka TURUN HARGA, ya gak pake mikir langsung mesen deh. 

 

Well, this is definitely a huge sin and very2 destructive. But what can I say, I don't splurge on anything else other than blazer, and to my defends, blazer kan buat kerja juga...so gak papa lah boros sedikit :puticonblushingdisini:

One more thing, did I tell you that I also bought another Zara Tuxedo Collar Blazer in Navy Blue for almost 75% off?!!! Geez, I am very lucky!

Marc by Marc Jacobs - MBM5032 Watch

Other than being known as a Red lover, Banana Phobia, Blazer addict and a -self proclaimed- good billiard player. I am also known as a die-hard fans of an over-sized watch!

I've always considered big watch, men watch or hard-to-missed watch as a something eye-catching. Ever since I teenage, all of my big brothers always bought me a huge sporty watch. So instead of buying me a cute girly2 pastel color Baby-G watch, my Bros would prefer to buy a sporty G-Shock watch. Well, perhaps that's one of the reason why I loved over-sized watch up until now.

So far, I've owned 4 over-sized rounded watch from various brands which 2 of them are from Michael Kors. And one square gold watch, also from MK.  I started to collecting timepieces because they are the most multi-functional accessory. Watches give you the time and sometimes the date, while making a great fashion statement. I especially love everything that has a chunky bands, big faces and a chronograph details on it. Somehow they look really standout and can polish any look.

Lately I've been itching to expand my watch collection with something that looks more masculine, and that is a black stainless steel watch. This sleek type of watch has been in my bucket list for several months, yet I never had a chance to spare my money on it.

My choice for a black stainless steel watch goes to MBM 5032 from Marc by Marc Jacobs. It was love at a first sight. I can still remember how I like it so very much until I swore to myself I must have it in my life. Seriously, that's exactly what I feel at that moment. But then again, the cash flow takes control! I can't have it...even until few months passed.

But the wise man said "what should be yours will come to you" *ngarangdotcom.

Until few days ago, I can finally get my hands on this dream watch MBM 5032 from Marc by Marc Jacobs at Urban Icon Central Park Mall. The story to get this watch is quite long though. Starting from the idea of selling my giveaway MK watch that is too small for me and luckily one of my "Arisan" friend has an interest to it and so she bought it. Long story short, I planned to use the cash money to buy my dream MJ watch.

To my surprise, Jo called me saying that her husband was willing to give me an additional discount on the watch that I want. Well, at first I was thinking that even though I didn't get the discount, I will still going to buy it. So hearing that sort of news from Jo makes me feel very lucky as it means I can get the watch with cheaper price tho! Alhamdulillah.

And so now, my mission has completed by owning the black stainless steel watch that I have been dreaming of since months ago.

After this, jangan pikir ekeh kaga nafsu ma jam lainnya ya cyint, secara masa pencinta merah kaga punya jam tangan warna merah! sooo...let's hunt the red watch.

MK Hamilton Specchio EW Satchel - Pearl Grey

So, sementara menunggu waktunya, lets chill out a little bit and do what ever makes me happy then. And that is.....put PO on several online shops! #duaarrr

As you know, I've been eyeing one particular bag since ages. And that one bag is MK Hamilton Saffiano East-West Satchel Pearl Grey. But I never ever had a chance to get my hands on that bag up until now. So ketika tas itu masih heboh betebaran di website2, gw lagi seru2nya hunting si Hamilton N/S Tote Red, thus ndak kepikiran samsek lah untuk pingin punya si PG. Sampe ketika gw liat satu perempuan pake PG with Silver Hardware right in front of my eyes, I instantly get hooked! At first gw pikir warna ini akan bikin tasnya kelihatan pale, but I was wrong, big time! In real lifenya trnyata si PG ini keceeh banget. Apalagi silver hardware nya bener2 bikin overall look of this bag more subtle yet so chic and lux. So dengan semangat 45 dimulailah perburuan tas MK berikutnya.

Unfortunately my hunting didn't work well, as it appeared I can't find the exact same bag everywhere. And when I saw one on eBay, it will normally comes with gold hardware ( which is not what i wanted) so the hunt keeps going.....Until i said to my self I better get another bag, or find another model with same color. Hhhmmm...I wish I can, but I am to determined to get it, so I will wait!

So, finally the wait is ended. I saw one showed up on the website while I am googling for Selma Pearl Grey. It's the exact same bag I've been wanted all along...Buuuttttt, this one has a slightly different on the lining. The new bag comes with silver lining all over its edge. Hhmm, I was hesitate if I ever liked the new model. Therefore I try to google and find as much as references before I decided if I wanna have it.

The consideration took almost 3 weeks, until FD released a 25% sale on Macy's. And that's applied on my PG bag as well. I couldn't resist it, especially when I know the satchel version hasn't officially being release in Jakarta.

And about few days ago, it's finally here and it's finally mine #lalalalala

New Year Haul(s) - ZARA Stripes Double Breasted Blazer & Navy Double Breasted Blazer

Holla all...

Mudah2an ndak bosen ya kalo gw ngomongin haul melulu, khususnya haul-an outfit, well specifically nya ya Blazer, or lebih jelasnya lagi Zara Blazer......*panjaaang beneer intronyah! lol

Jadiiii...yang namanya end of year, pasti semua mall di Jakarta pada heboh gembar-gembor SALE donk yaa. Jalan semeter-semeter pasti bakalan liat tulisan SALE segede2 bagong! Gw sih ndak pernah terlalu nafsu sama tulisan2 itu unless it's in my absolute favorite store..Zara. Dan ketika entah kenapa nih kaki gatel banget pingin menghambur-hamburkan uang *ciiih* iseng lah gw ngider2 ke Kota Kasablanka. Teruus, tidak disangka dan tidak diduga2 si toko kesayangan pasang tulisan "rachuns" itu didisplaynya. Nah gw yang notabene akan tetep masuk walopun gada tulisan itu, ketika  liat tulisan itu langsung donk kaya anak kecil nemu permen, matanya berbinar2 macam kartun Sailormoon *maafkan kelebay-an sayah ^^

Dan kebetulan banget gw juga lagi nyari satu striped double breasted blazer yang udah gw incer berbulan2 lamanya. Waktu pertama liat sih udah jatuh cinta, tpi pas liat price tag-nya gw mundur perlahan. Bukan apa2,  prinsip gw kalo bukan untuk blazer classic yang bisa gw pake selamanya, rasa2nya koq ndak rela beli seharga lebih dari sejut-an -__- nah berhubung selalu terbayang2, alhasil nyoba2 deh PO ke MP. Satu lapak ndak konfirm2, trus ada satu lapak lagi ngasi hrga hampir sama ma tokonya. Berhubung udh ngidam dan sempet tau juga kalo barangnya udah ndak ada, ya udah gw confirm aja donk di satu lapak.

Sampe akhirnya jalan2 iseng gw itu mengarah ke tulisan SALE di Zara kokas, trus mulailah gw scanning2 area blazer. Daaannn....suddenly my eyes stumbled upon my dream stripes blazer ituh. Truss yang lebih happynya lagi adalah, it's on SALE bebiih! OMG, i was thrilled and excited karena kebtulan juga size XS nya tinggal sebiji2nya (dikira buah kalee, sebiji). What happened next gak usah ditanya lah yaa, gw lagsung kekepin itu blazer dan bawa ke fitting room (tetep donk musti di fitting lagih) and setelah puas foto2 buat dokumentasi plus post di Path, and post di IG (halaagh) cuss lah ke counter untuk bebayaran. Keluar dari tokonya gw udah sumringah2 aja..sampe akhirnya gw sadaar.....gw belum cancel orderan gw di lapak MP! Buru2 deh gw kirim email untuk cancel dan Alhamdulillahnya pesenan gw belum diorderin. Alhamdulillah.

Selang seminggu, Desong main2 ke kostan gw, dan seperti biasa-lah, kalo ketemu sama Mrs. Chic and Shopaholic ini, ndak mungkin banget deh kalo ndak jayan2 ke Mall. Tadinya sih mau ngajakin ke Kemang Village, tpi dia mana mauu...ndak ada yang keceh2 katanya. Alhasil kita mampir-lah ke PIM sekalian liat2 H&M. Sampe sana, gw sempet naksir cincin gold H&M, tpi sayang ndak ada sizenya, trus Desong sempet beli2 baju untuk Baby Cavalli. Kelar ngider2 PIM 1, kita nyebrang ke PIM 2 adn langsung headed to Zara store. Lucunyaaa...sebelum kita masuk, Desong bilang "berdoa dulu, semoga dijauhkan dari godaan2 sale yang terkutuk itu, karena biar gimanapun, kita hanya wanita biasa yang tidak luput dari godaan" Blaaaahhhh...roflol

Didalem, gw belok kanan kearah trousers and blazer and Desong belok kiri kearah dress and skirt (we're totally have a different style). Ketika sibuk dengan dunianya masing2, akhirnya pas ketemu depan fitting room, Desong bawa satu jeans and polkadot peplum tops and gw, as always, bawa satu setelan coat dan trousers.

Puas nyoba2, we both decided to buy them all. Gak pake mikir lama, gak pake mikir 2 kali, gak pake bimbang! Secara coat yang gw mau harganya sale sampe 50% dan jeans yang Desong mau sizenya juga tinggal satu2nya. Siapa yang bisa nolak coba.

Besides these 2 Zara blazers, gw juga sempet2nya bungkus satu blazer motif biru di SuiteBlanco. Kalo yang ini kebeli karena ndak sengaja masuk mau nyari2 tank top putih, eh tau2 liat si blazer diskon sampe 50% lebih sampe2 harganya labih murah dibandingin blazer Invio. So yaudah bungkus, lumayan banget dapet harga segitu. Dan berhubung motifnya ala-ala batik, jadinya kan gw bsa pake untuk acara2 khusus juga...Alhamdulillah :)

Hello September-Super Late Post

It's been too long, yeah..freaking too long I'm abandoning this blog, almost a month I never post anything. For serious, this couple days has been the most busiest weeks I ever experienced. Not, that I'm complaining or anything, because the truth is, I'm just too carried away with my new challenges, my new environment, my new tasks and responsibilities.

I've to admit, it was terrific. Meeting new people, knowing new things and learning completely out-of-my-mind business. Some might think it's just too much, but 'too much' isn't actually bad if it comes to nourishing your thoughts and stressing your powerful side!

Alhamdulillah....

Life after work, frankly speaking, not much really. It was all because I always came home late everyday, but...I do had several lunch gathering with my MK besties. It's funny how coincidentally one of the MK trit member is working at the same building with me, in fact, her office is just 1 level below me. So, after the previous fun meet up the other day, we always make time to had lunch together.

And, the most obvious thing about getting back to work is that now I can wear my blazers again. lol. And yeah, as always, I'm still thinking that I have nothing to wear! So I ended up wearing the same combo over and over again...

 

 

 I seriously need some inspirations here :(

Michael Kors Hamilton Saffiano N/S Tote Large - RED

Merdekaaa!!!

Hahaha..apa kabar semuanya? hope baik2 aja yaa..seperti diriku hari ini yang lagi merasa happy sampe keubun-ubun. (karena menang lomba makan kerupuk Gie?) Noo..no..udah gede mak, malu sama umur dan gak enak juga saingan ma bocah2 deket kostan! LOL

Anyway, hari ini gw cuma mau sharing aja how much I enjoyed my days lately. First after ber-galaw2 ria gegara nervous menyambut hari pertama kerja, all of sudden hari kamis kemarin, semua perasaan galaw, resah, gelisah dan gamang..hilang semuanyaah!

And the reason is because, finally, after weeks of weeks hunting, browsing2 sampe begadang dan compare2 sampe mata sliwer, last Thursday, my dream MK Hamilton Saffiano Red has finally arrived! Excited? Sudah cencuuw <3

Jadi ceritanya kan kamis kemarin gw ndak kemana-mana, trus iseng deh mau nongkrong2 sambil buka laptop di kolam. Baru juga naro laptop, tiba2 aja Bu Sugeng bilang kalo gw dapet kiriman paket, pas gw liat bungkus paketnya gedaaa..I kneew it was my long-awaited bag that's coming!

Jangan ditanya deh betapa noraxnya gw ketika ngeliat itu, secara gw udah kaya orang gila lompat2an kesenengan, sampe2 si Ibu Sugeng berrolling eyes ngeliatinnya :p

Trus ga pake lama, langsung buru2 donk gw buka itu paket (sambil deg2an pastinya) (berasa kaya dapet kiriman cincin kawin) (maafkan saya yang norak ya) And there it is, just right in front of my eyes, my dream bag!

OMG...OMG...OMG

You see, I've been dreaming this bag since the very first I saw it, but I was torned between this one or Selma, and after long consideration, I chose Selma Black first instead of this. After I got the Selma, then I began to hunting Hamilton Red again.

Apparently,  it was not that easy. Considering this color was their last season' collection and they don't sell in any longer here in my country, thus I need to search to another country or websites.

Again, it was not that easy because most of the websites only provide the Mandarin color instead of RED, and for me, even though both colors are looked almost the same, but I just knew that in real life they're both slightly different. As per its name, Mandarin leans to orange-ish and yeah of course I don't liked it.  So the hunting kept continued...

Until one day I found the real Red at Macy's.  As always, I contacted one of the forum seller to buy it for me. Unfortunately, at that time she doesn't open PO from Macy's, as well as the other sellers too. And there you are, I lost hope! Tapi namanya juga ngidam ya mak, gw kekeuh musti hunting teruuuus! Akhirnya, gw coba2 deh searching dan compare2 harga di Instagram, Facebook and another online sites sampe buntu mau nyari kemana lagi.

Several weeks has passed until I tried it once again on Google, and finally..one of the online shopping site called Amazon sell it and what makes me even happier is that the price was on sale aka cheaper than what I've seen before, A LOT!

So without further thinking, I immediately contacted the seller -thank God that she open PO at Amazon- and after I agreed on the quote price, I said confirmed and she said OK.

Deal Done! All I have to do is just wait for it to arrived in my kostan for about 3 weeks or so (so much depends on our customs).

To my surprise, it's arrived earlier than I thought! Only in 3 weeks, the seller sent me the invoice and less than 2 days, it's here and totally mine now ;)

After a thrilled and super exciting day, latah deh mampir ke Galleries Lafayette Pacific Place untuk iseng ngecek2 toko MK yang baru aja dibuka. Dan ujung2nya adalah, kalap nyobain tas2 dan aksesoris yang super duper keceh2 itu sampe kebawa mimpi segala!

PS : Naksir satchel saffiano yang luggage...sama bracelet and wide buckle ring!

Blazer Style

Maybe you all had enough listening me talking about blazer all the time. About how much i love blazer, how much I adore Zara blazer and how much I say I cannot live my work life without it. But on a serious note, I do sometimes lost track and idea how to wear it differently.

You see, I don't like wearing skirt, let alone a dress. It's just too girly2 for me and it's just not my style. Therefore, the only combination to wear blazers for me are trousers or jeans. And trust me, it ain't easy as it seems. No matter how many times I googling to search some inspirations, it will always ended up nothing. I'm not saying this because they're all not good. It's just because, their posture and mine are not the same. Their culture, their personal style and their working environment are not the same too. So it's kinda difficult for me to match what suits best.

There are a LOT of blazer style, outfit and inspirations on google, but is there at least one blogger that can really channeling my signature style? Maybe I didn't search too hard, maybe there is one out there. It doesn't necessarily international blogger, domestic will even better, because she will definitely understand what we've going through in here.  But is there any?

All pics below are supppeerrr duppperrr awesoomme. I cannot stop looking at them and daydreaming that one day I can copy their style too. But boy, oh boy..those killer legs! Not in the world I can own those long and gorgeous legs! *ssighh..now I'm blaming my body..Bad Gie..Bad!
