Nail Polish Haul - OPI Jinx Liquid Sand & Innie Minnie Mighty Bow

Hola all...hope you have a funtastic Tuesday ahead!

This time I am going to write about my other nail polishes haul. So besides Essie, I also bought two new red and orange shades nail polishes from OPI. As you can see, I'd posted the swatches on my Instagram @gie_dazzling.

I know it's so late to post about liquid sand nail polishes, but I just have to. I just wanted to share how much I love it in real life after seeing the swatches only on the internet!

Liquid sand nail polish is a jelly base glitter polish that when you apply it to your nails, it looks like a jelly polish with glitter in it. However, it dries to a matte, grainy, sandy and rough finish. Sounds cool hu'uh? And my first liquid sand nail polish is called Jinx from the Bond Girls Collection. It consists of six liquid sand polishes, but this one that caught my eyes the most.

Jinx is a bright red-orange with lots of gold and microglitters. The color is just stunning. The formula -as any other OPI polishes- was great. It took only two coats to get the full opacity and no top coat is needed!

Second nail polish is called OPI Innie Minnie Mighty Bow from OPI Couture de Minnie collection. It's a classic candy apple red with strong red and golden micro shimmer for added dimension. The color is very vibrant and extremely saturated. It's completely a different red shade compare to my other red nail polishes.

I'm so glad to bought these two and add them into my ever-growing nail polishes stash :D

My First Essie Nail Polishes - Avenue Maintain & Naughty Nautical Mini Set

I cannot sleep. It's 6am in the morning yet I cannot closed my eyes even for a while. As you know I'm still off-working and enjoying what being called enjoyable-long-leave, thus I never worried to wake up late, even until past twelve..haha (gak beneer iniiih)

Anywhooo,
Back to the subject lol. After checking my archives, I just realized that I haven't bought any nail polishes since February 13. Geez, its almost 5 months ago. I believe I've missed so many great collections. But since I'm only a Nailpolish junkie-wanna be, i'm not that sad if i missed one or two or even hundreds of great new collections. I'm sure I can always buy them at later time.

During almost 5 months nail polish haul hiatus, around several weeks ago I started to order nail polish again. This time I thinking about buying different brand and that brand was Essie!

Essie is the must-have in nail care. Essie’s multiple prize winning formula is known for its “no-chip” properties, assuring perfect long-lasting coverage. A charming whimsical and distinct name is given to each color to show-off the personality captured by this color.

The brand is so famous amongst nail polish junkie, and I guess I'm the last person who happened to realize it far too long. When everyone has had hundreds of their collections, I've just started thinking to collecting them since last month. *shame on me*

And my first Essie nail polishes was Essie Avenue Maintain from the Madison Ave-Hue collection. It's a medium sky blue shade with cream finish. I never think that I would love this kind of shade, but that chic Parisian blue just caught my eyes and I instantly fell in love with it.

The formula was great, although in my opinion the consistency was a little bit too thick, thus it's a bit trickier to apply than my other nail polishes, but it's still easy. It gave perfect coverage only in 2 coats. The dry time was okay and pretty long lasting. I just got several minor chipped on top of my nails after more than 5 days and after doing the dishes *no complaint to that, though!

As always, I ordered the nail polish through online shopping at MP-FD Lena, since they're not available yet here in Indonesia.

My upcoming Essie nail polish would be the Summer 2013 Naughty Nautical Mini Set collection, which I hope will be arrived soon in few more days. I decided to buy this because of the pretty shimmer and only just one set, I can get 4 awesome colors to try on. I can't wait!

Comparison : OPI Tickle My France-y and OPI Dulce de Leche

I guess, have had these 2 nude nail polishes was enough for me.  As i never -i mean never- ever like a sheer, mannequin look for my nails.

IMO, DdL terlihat lebih cocok dikulit gw yang kekuning2-an dan kecoklat2an ini (ga jelas deh warna kulit gw apah), walopuun both of them still looks slightly nude on the nails.

If talking bout kualitas formula dan dry-time nya OPI sih sudah tidak perlu diragukan lagi yaa, tapi khusus untuk apply TMF emang perlu effort sedikit banyak karena dia sheer bgt, 2x apply juga masih terlihat discoloration, thus I usually wears 3 coats.

Feb Nail Polish Haul

Selain Zoya, bulan ini orderan another OPI and Essie Good to Go Top Coat gw akhirnya datang juga. Si top coat sih kebeli karena kepalang kecantum di listnya Lena, dan pas kebetulan gw juga gak punya spare-nya Seche Vite, thus i took that one too.

I really don't know how and why I put an order for OPI Tickle My France-y karena gw jelas bukan penggemar berat Nude nail polish. Apalagi warna kulit gw cenderung gak pernah cocok kena nail polish yang warnanya sheer dan soft gitu. But the hell, I still ordered it dengan harapan bisa buat unyu2an nanti.

paleeeeeee -___-

Berikutnya adalah kutek impian yang udah gw idam2kan dari jaman posting DISINI. It was OPI Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ. Every reviews said a different opinion about its color, but for me, i see it as a wickedly vampy reddish burgundy plum black that looks very nice indoor and fantastic on the outdoor.

My First Zoya Nail Polish - Batch 2 (Isla & Kelly)

Following my previous post about My first ever Zoya Nail polish - Batch 1 (Natty & Blaze) HERE, now I am going to write about the second batch, which consist of Zoya Isla and Zoya Kelly.

Of course both nail polishes have a gorjes-gorjes-gorjes color and their famous 'great and safety formula' tag.

First I'm going to start of with Zoya Isla.
It's described as: Rich, velvety cool-toned blackened red shimmer that appears lit from within.
For me, i describe it as one word : Gorgeous!

sorry for the uneven surface of my nails as i was not wearing my base coat thick enough -__-

It is the kind of red that I've been searching and want all this time. It's a frosty vampy dark red that looks red in the middle but darker to black on the outer.

Application, dry-time, formula was all okay. But somehow I don't feel too comfortable with its small brush. It took several times for me to dip and apply before my whole nails covered. But then again, itu kembali lagi ke kebiasaan masing2.

*I suggest to use a very thick base coat, as it tends to expose uneven nails surface.

Experimenting
Putting my China Glaze Ruby Pumps on top of Zoya Isla. It looks tremendously awesome and the most important is that it can covered up my uneven nail surface :D

Next is Zoya Kelly.
At first, people will think that this one similar to Natty, but if you put them side by side then you can tell, that both nail polishes has a very different shade and color. Natty leans to dusty-blue-gray whilst Kelly mostly leans to dusty grey with a little hint of purple.

ini tangan yang samaaa loooh -__-

My First Zoya Nail Polish - Batch 1

Finally, my first ever Zoya nail polish has arrived. Actually, i've been eyeing this brand for quite sometimes, but i still hesitate to put an order because i already get used to wear OPI. But theeen, when my eyes lays on Zoya Natty...my heart melted. The color was soo beautiful. Its a smoky deep steel blue or smoky navy blue with a cream finish and IMO it's quite unique tho.

Based on nail polish goddes' review, this color is the one not to be missed by all nail polish junkie and to be frank, i'm so agree with them. Thus, i instantly put an order for several Zoya nail polishes tru MP-FD.

As you all might probably know, i'm a huge fans of Red nail polish and i'm a truly Red polishes person, but I do also love navy blue, dark, dusty, smokey and vampy nail polishes, so this Natty is definitely one of my favorite too. Besides Natty, i also put an order for Zoya Kelly (not yet arrive). It's a rich and creamy dark grey with blue and purple undertones. According to reviews, it has a very interesting and one of a kind color. And..ooh, Zoya also famous for its amazing and -free from harmful industrial chemicals-formula, it dries quickly and covers evenly..well, i don't know about it until i try it first hand, and when i made my first attempt, i'm amazed how much i liked it. It's fully opaque in first application, but for nubie like me one application will never enough, thus I apply two times for better results. Opaque, creamy, dusty and shiny, so what's not to be love?

So here's the first batch of my order, Zoya Natty and Zoya Blaze.

Blaze was featured in Zoya's first holographic polishes in their Ornate Holiday 2012 Collection. It's describes as "full coverage, cool-toned medium mulberry red with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter" Well, i must say that the color leads more to purple than red, but doesn't matter tho, it's beautiful and it's my first holo nail polish too...i like it.

So do you have Zoya polishes girls? which one is your fave and can you suggest another Zoya red for meee?? ;)

'End of the Year' Nail Polish Haul

Geez, I just realized that I haven't post about nail polish again since June, nearly 7 months! Yaaah, gimana doonk, my mood for nail polish always ups and down sihh. But since it's almost end of the year (sooo??), i think it's the best time for me to have a new one (or two) nail polish-es to added into my stash :p

Aaaand it's super easy to predict that my next nail polish haul will be another red nail polish (hidup merah!)  heheheh..

So after reading some reviews on red nail polish comparisons, I decided to put my order on Malaga Wine and German-icure. The reasons are obvious, both nail polishes are superb and I don't have a similar shade as these two reds.

Malaga Wine is a creamy vampy red that looked bright on first application and instantly transformed to a deep red wine on second or 'if needed' three applications.

As we all know, OPI formula has never failed anyone, including me.  It's easy to apply, very opaque, fast dry and super shiny. Update : however....i don't know why, i missed my luck this time as it turned out that my Malaga Wine took forever to dry..very unusual indeed..but well, maybe i need to change my base coat then.

Second nail polish comes from a very recent OPI Germany collection for Fall 2012. It consist of 12 beautiful colors, but my eyes can only sees the red one ;p

There are actually 2 red shades on the collection, first one is Danke-Shiny Red and second is German-icure, but I opt for the second red because Danke (for me) looks very similar to An Affair In Red Square, which I already owned.

Based on Scrangie (nail polish goddes), German-icure is a Dark, vampy, brown-tinged shimmery red and has a subtle gold shift to it. Sounds an interesting color details cause I personally always love vampy nail polish, and this one is no exception.

I do not know how it would turn out on my nails, but I'm pretty sure its gonna be awesome (high-pitch gaya Barney ;p) Update : I love love how they turned out on my nails, just exactly as i wanted...however, my nails are not in a very mint conditions and they're short, thus it doesnt look that good on the picture..bleeh :(

Anyway, I am a no-nail polish junkie, but if I had a chance to have all red nail polish in the world, it will sounds amazing though ;p

 Gimme More Please :p
